This is Ginger right after her birth, struggling to get up, as her slightly older brother Fred nuzzles with Mom. When a goat has twins, we often have to help the littlest one. Ginger spent a couple of days in the house with us. She's perfectly healthy now. |

Jess really struggled at first. We almost lost her. Mojo, the 160 lb. St. Bernard, decided that baby Jess was his little buddy. He tries very hard to be gentle with his new friend. And he became very protective of the little girl. |
